Colts EDGE Kwity Paye (quad) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 6 against the Titans.
Paye has been out since Week 4 because of the quad issue. He totaled 1.5 sacks over the first three weeks of the season. Defensive back Kenny Moore is listed as questionable. he practiced in full on Friday, putting him on the right side of his questionable tag for Week 6.
  • IND Defensive End #51
Colts EDGE Kwity Paye (quad) returned to practice on Wednesday.
Paye didn’t practice at all last week and was ruled out on Friday. He totaled 1.5 sacks over the first three weeks before suffering the quad injury. Cornerback Kenny Moore also missed Week 5 and returned to practice on Wednesday as well. The Colts may be getting some help on the defensive side of the ball for their Week 6 bout with the Titans.
  • IND Defensive End #51
Colts EDGE Kwity Paye (quad) will not play in Week 5 against the Jaguars.
In addition to Paye, the Colts also ruled out cornerback Kenny Moore (hip). Both players were DNPs throughout the week and will now miss their second straight game due to injury. The Colts are allowing the most yards per game of any team this season. Without two of their top defenders, Trevor Lawerence, Travis Etienne and the Jaguars could be in line for strong fantasy weeks.
  • IND EDGE #51
Cotls EDGE Kwity Paye (quad) will not play in Week 4 against the Steelers.
Cornerback Kenny Moore (hip) was also ruled out. Neither defender practiced this week before being listed as out by head coach Shane Steichen. The Colts will also be without defensive lineman DeForest Buckner, who was placed on injured reserve last week. Expected the Steelers to pick on this undermanned front-seven with a heavy dose of rush attempts on Sunday.
  • IND Safety #32
Colts S Julian Blackmon (shoulder) will not play in Week 2 against the Packers.
Blackmon didn’t practice this week, so his absence doesn’t come as a surprise. Per head coach Shane Steichen, DT DeForest Buckner (back) has a chance to play. Both he and EDGE Kwity Paye (hamstring) are questionable for Week 2. Even with a weakened pass-rush, the Colts should be able to get home on Malik Willis more than a few times.
  • IND Defensive Lineman #99
Colts DL DeForest Buckner (back) did not practice on Thursday.
Buckner tends to play through injuries, having yet to miss a game since signing with the Colts in 2020, and has experience managing a back injury in the past. Regarding this issue, Buckner said it is “pretty much the same thing” he dealt with last season, referencing his Week 4, 2023 appearance on the injury report. If active, Buckner fortuitously frequently lines up over the Packers’ weak point at right guard which bodes positively for the Colts’ fantasy D/ST unit. S Julian Blackmon (shoulder) and DE Kwity Paye (hamstring) were likewise unable to practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
  • IND EDGE #51
Colts exercised the fifth-year option for EDGE Kwity Paye.
Paye has shown steady improvement over each of his first three years in the league and posted career highs in tackles (52) and sacks (8.5) last season. The Colts selected Paye with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and have reaped the early benefits of that pick. Paye has totaled 18.5 sacks in his career, along with 29 TFLs. For a player who was considered a raw talent after making just 19 college starts, the sky continues to be the limit for Paye, who could be in for a career-year in 2024.
  • IND EDGE #51
Colts EDGE Kwity Paye (hamstring) is questionable to return in Week 10 against the Patriots.
Fellow defensive end Tyquan Lewis is also questionable to return. Lewis is dealing with a calf issue. Paye has 3.5 sacks and a pair of fumble recoveries this season. Down multiple lineman, the Colts defense will be an easier target for Mac Jones for the remainder of this game.
  • IND Tackle #79
Colts LT Bernhard Raimann (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.
Raimann did not practice until Friday last week. He closed the week with a limited session but was unable to clear concussion protocol before Sunday. he shed the non-contact jersey today, indicating he has been fully cleared. Raimann will resume his spot at the left end of Indy’s line in Week 6. Kwity Paye and Shaquille Leonard also practice on Wednesday.
  • IND Running Back #28
Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) is active for Week 5 against the Titans.
Taylor is back from the PUP list after recovering from an ankle injury and signing a contract extension with the Colts. Fantasy managers will be thrilled to get Taylor back as an RB1 for the rest of the season. The Colts declared QB Sam Ehlinger, LB Shaquille Leonard, TE Will Mallory, DE Kwity Paye, and OT Bernhard Raimann inactive for Week 5 against the Titans.
