Ravens hired Marcus Brady to fill their vacant offensive passing game coordinator position.
He served as the Chargers’ pass game coordinator for the past two seasons. He was with the Eagles in the two seasons before that, serving as an offensive consultant before being promoted to senior offensive assistant. He also notably served as the Colts’ offensive coordinator from 2021 to 2022.

Chargers interviewed passing-game coordinator Marcus Brady for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
Brady is the first candidate to interview for the Chargers’ OC role, and undoubtedly not the last. He did interview for the Bucs and Patriots OC openings last year., as well as for three vacancies for an OC role in 2024. The veteran passing-game coordinator coordinated the Colts offense briefly in 2021-2022 — those were the Carson Wentz and Matt Ryan/Sam Ehlinger/Jeff Saturday year,s if you want help dating yourself.

Buccaneers conducted a virtual interview with Chargers pass game coordinator Marcus Brady.
Brady has now been linked to the Buccaneers and Patriots after serving as the pass game coordinator under Greg Roman in Los Angeles. He previously served in various offensive coaching positions with the Eagles and Colts before helping quarterback Justin Herbert to a career resurgence in 2024. Herbert threw a league-low three interceptions during the regular season, of quarterbacks with eight or more starts.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that the Patriots have “requested to interview Chargers pass game coordinator Marcus Brady for their offensive coordinator position.”
Brady helped helm the Chargers’ passing offense to a 10th-ranked 7.6 yards per attempt average this season. He spent five seasons in various passing-game and offense-related roles with the Colts before serving as an offensive consultant (2022) and senior offensive assistant (2023) for the Eagles. His single season with the Chargers has evidently impressed folks in the Patriots’ organization and he is now a name to watch in this hiring cycle.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the Chargers are hiring Marcus Brady as their passing game coordinator.
Brady interviewed for the Chargers’ offensive coordinator position but will instead be brought on in a different capacity. Brady spent 2023 with the Eagles as a senior offensive assistant and has been with the team since 2022. Prior to being hired by the Chargers, Brady also interviewed with the Bears and Panthers for their offensive coordinator vacancies.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the Chargers have requested an interview with Eagles senior offensive assistant Marcus Brady for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
Brady continues to gain steam in offensive coordinator searches, as the Chargers become the third team to target him this offseason. Brady has been in some successful coaching rooms during his brief six-year NFL coaching career and served as the offensive coordinator for the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts from 2013 to 2017.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Panthers have requested an interview with Eagles senior offensive assistant Marcus Brady for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
Brady spoke with the Bears regarding their offensive coordinator vacancy before they ultimately decided to hire Shane Waldron. Brady has been an NFL assistant for the last six seasons and is a branch off the Frank Reich coaching tree. His lack of experience relative to more tenured coaches could hurt him this coaching cycle, but Brady has been in some good coaching rooms in his short time.

The Bears have requested permission to interview Eagles senior offensive assistant Marcus Brady for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
A member of the Frank Reich coaching tree before he became a Nick Sirianni assistant, Brady was part of erratic Colts owner Jim Irsay’s mid-2022 coaching purge. Brady has only been an NFL assistant since 2018, but he has been part of a number of successful staffs.

Eagles hired former Colts OC Marcus Brady as a senior offensive assistant.
He’ll work with new OC Brian Johnson to help keep the offense humming with Shane Steichen off to Indianapolis. Brady had consulted with the Eagles after being let go by the Colts in what can only be described as a scapegoat firing. The Jets also interviewed him for their offensive coordinator vacancy this offseason.

Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer writes that the Rams have interviewed former Jets OC Mike LaFleur for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
Breer writes that “my sense is that’s still the direction this is going in.” Breer also notes that the Rams have interviewed former Colts OC Marcus Brady and Eagles QBs coach Brian Johnson for the job as well. This is the first real mention we’ve seen about the Rams candidates for this job after Sean McVay finally opted in to returning next season. LaFleur could restore some luster for his future prospects under McVay, though it’s unlikely he’d get quite as much credit if things went right under McVay’s watch.
