Over the years, plenty of accomplished basketball players have become more than accomplished football players. Specifically at tight end.
The Buffalo Bills could be considering doing the same thing.
According to WKBW-TV in Buffalo, the Bills will work out Canisius basketball player Chris Manhertz. He has never played a single down of football.
Manhertz (6'6", 235 pounds) appeared in 34 games as a senior at Canisius. He averaged 8.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.
It’s believed the Bills are interested in Manhertz as a tight end.
