During the season, teams routinely bring in a cluster of players every Tuesday for tryouts. In the offseason, the groups are smaller and the tryouts are more sporadic. This Tuesday, the Giants brought in a half dozen players for a kicking of the tires.

Per a league source, the Giants reported to the league office on Tuesday that they have tried out tackles Ben Ijalana and Byron Stingily, defensive back Jaiquawn Jarrett, linebacker Kelvin Sheppard, running back Bobby Rainey (pictured), and fullback/tight end Will Johnson.

As previously reported, Johnson was signed by the Giants. The Giants also have recently signed offensive lineman Ryan Seymour and Dillon Farrell.

In all, the Giants have made 21 player transactions since the end of the 2015 regular season.
