Undersized at 6'0/230, Henson was overshadowed at TCU by teammates Stephen Hodge and Jason Phillips. He isn’t ready to compete for time at linebacker, but he could contribute on special teams.

The sixth-rounder’s chances of making the team took a hit when he sustained an injured knee against the Cardinals in the preseason finale.

Henson didn’t play a down last season after injuring his knee in the preseason, and started out training camp on the roster-exempt PUP list. A sixth-round pick out of TCU in 2009, he made three tackles in six games that season. Still just 24, he should be able to latch on somewhere else.
