    Colts waived TE Ross Travis.
The Colts will likely attempt to re-sign Travis to their practice squad. This leaves them with just two TEs on their 53-man roster.

    Colts re-signed TE Ross Travis.
Travis went to training camp with the Colts but was waived at final cuts. He’ll slot in as Indy’s third-string tight end with Eric Ebron (ankle) headed to I.R. The Penn State alum holds a 10-91-0 receiving line across 21 appearances for Kansas City and Indianapolis since arriving as an undrafted rookie in 2015.
  • Tight End
Colts signed TE Ross Travis to a one-year extension through 2019.
He was scheduled to be a restricted free agent. Claimed off waivers from the Chiefs late in the 2017 season, Travis spent all of last season on injured reserve because of a torn ACL. He will compete for a role behind Jack Doyle and Eric Ebron.
