Hextall says Rinaldo hearing is Monday at 12:30 on the phone— Tim Panaccio (@tpanotchRET) January 21, 2015
Since Rinaldo was offered an in-person hearing he is eligible to be suspended for six or more games.
He received a boarding major and a game misconduct for this hit:
Rinaldo has a history with the Department of Player Safety. In April of last year he was suspended four games for an illegal check to the head of Buffalo Sabres defenseman Chad Ruhwedel.
