This nightmare season continues for Sergei Bobrovsky and the Columbus Blue Jackets, as the expensive netminder is hurt once again.
Columbus announced that he won’t return to Thursday’s game against the Calgary Flames because of a lower-body injury.
The Blue Jackets didn’t specify whether Bobrovsky suffered a re-injury from what sidelined him for 17 games (also labeled lower-body) or if it’s a new issue.
Joonas Korpisalo is in for Sergei Bobrovsky. Bobrovsky has been chatting with the trainer during breaks in the action tonight.

Either way, it’s another bump in the road for a team that came into the 2015-16 season with high expectations.
Blue Jackets fans must hope that his long-term health luck improves, as his whopping $7.425 million cap hit won’t run out until after the 2018-19 season.
