France won its second boxing gold medal of the Rio Olympics Sunday, as Tony Yoka took gold in the super heavyweight division.

Yoka, who took gold in the division at last year’s World Championships, defeated Great Britain’s Joe Joyce by split decision in the gold medal bout. Yoka won cards by scores of 30-27 and 29-28, with Joyce winning the third card by a 29-28 score.

The bout was a rematch of their semifinal matchup at last year’s World Championships, which Yoka won by unanimous decision on his way to the aforementioned title. Joyce would take bronze as a result of that defeat.

Taking bronze in Rio were Croatia’s Filip Hrgovic and Kazakhstan’s Ivan Dychko.
