2010 Olympic ice dance champions Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir will likely know if they’ll keep skating competitively in the next six months.
“It’s a lot of work to get back to another Olympics and you know, you really have to have that fire,” Moir said, according to CTV. “It’s something that takes time to figure out and I think we’ll know later on this summer.”
The Canadians Virtue and Moir took silver behind Americans Meryl Davis and Charlie White in Sochi.
Neither the Canadians nor the Americans are competing at the World Championships in Saitama, Japan, next week.
Moir has said he and Virtue hope to “find some clarity” while touring and doing ice shows this spring.
