Day 5 of the Olympics in Rio gets started with a bang, a quartet of sports vying for our attention bright and early.

Cycling goes to the women’s and men’s time trial, alongside our normal early morning trio of rowing, archery, and fencing.

American cyclists Kristin Armstrong, Evelyn Stevens, Taylor Phinney, and Brent Bookwater will be racing for the Stars and Stripes.

Fencing has the men and women in action, with the women using the foil and the men the sabre.
