Top driver Elana Meyers (pictured) leads the U.S. into the start of the women’s bobsled competition at the Sochi Olympics, which begins with the first two runs today at Sanki Sliding Center.

You can watch LIVE on starting at 11:15 a.m. ET.

Meyers, who will have Lauryn Williams as her brakeman in USA-1, is considered by observers to be the top threat to Olympic champion Kaillie Humphries of Canada.

Humphries will once again have brakeman Heather Moyse behind her, four years after their golden run together on home ice at Vancouver.

Today also marks the Olympic bobsled debut of Lolo Jones, who has competed as a track and field hurdler for the U.S. in the last two Summer Olympics.

After missing out on an medal in Beijing and London, can she grab one in Sochi as brakeman for Jazmine Fenlator in the third U.S. sled?
