NBC Sports Group’s Weekend Coverage Begins Friday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN & Culminates with Live Men’s Final Sunday, Sept. 27 at Noon ET on CNBC

Universal Sports’ Live Coverage Continues Friday, Sept. 25 with Men’s U23 Road Race and Saturday, Sept. 26 with Women’s Elite Road Race

STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 24, 2015 – NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2015 UCI Road Cycling World Championships in Richmond, Va., continues tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN, culminating with the final Men’s Elite Road Circuit in the competition, this Sunday, Sept. 27, live at Noon ET on CNBC. Universal Sports Network’s coverage continues tonight at 5 p.m. ET with a highlight show, with live Men’s Under 23 Road Race action continuing tomorrow at 2 p.m. ET.

Universal Sports Network presents a wrap-up show this Monday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. ET, and NBC features a recap of the event on Sunday, Oct. 4, at Noon ET.

Held in Virginia’s historic capital city, the nine-day event features more than 1,000 of the world’s best cyclists competing for their countries (70 countries represented). Among those competing in this weekend’s Men’s Elite Road Circuit are USA’s Ben King (North Garden, Va.), Slovenia’s Peter Sagan, Germany’s John Degenkolb, and Norway’s Alexander Kristoff.

Joining all telecasts from the field and hosting pre-race coverage on Universal Sports are veteran sports broadcaster Todd Harris and former professional and national team road cyclist Dotsie Bausch, a 2012 Olympic medalist in track cycling.

Paul Sherwen handles play-by-play for telecasts on NBC, NBCSN and CNBC joined by analyst Christian Vande Velde.

Calling the action for Universal Sports is play-by-play commentator Steve Schlanger alongside analyst Todd Gogulski.
