PGA TOUR: WM PHOENIX OPEN
Boisterous crowds will flock to TPC Scottsdale this week for the annual playing of the WM Phoenix Open, known for its rowdy 16th hole par-3, which is the only fully enclosed stadium hole on the PGA TOUR and is expected to have a daily capacity of 20,000 spectators.
The star-studded field is slated to include World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Max Homa, Rickie Fowler, and reigning U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark, who won last weekend’s weather-impacted AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am following a third-round 60.
Saturday and Sunday coverage on NBC and Peacock airs at 3 p.m. ET. GOLF Channel and Peacock will present Thursday and Friday coverage beginning at 4 p.m. ET, as well as Saturday and Sunday lead-in coverage at 1 p.m. ET.
Saturday’s NBC coverage will feature analysts Kevin Kisner and Smylie Kaufman calling the action from alongside the tee of the famed 16th hole par-3 at TPC Scottsdale.
