Commercial Establishments Can Show Peacock-Exclusive Bills-Chargers & NFL Wild Card Game via Peacock Sports Pass

STAMFORD, Conn. – Nov. 16, 2023 – NBC Sports’ Sunday Night Football announce team of Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth and Melissa Stark will call the Peacock Holiday Exclusive Buffalo Bills-Los Angeles Chargers game on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 8 p.m. ET, it was announced today.

Since the beginning of the 2022 season, Tirico, Collinsworth and Stark have teamed on NBC Sports’ Sunday Night Football -- primetime’s #1 show for an unprecedented 12 consecutive years.

The Bills-Chargers matchup – featuring 2022 playoff teams with respective star quarterbacks Josh Allen and Justin Herbert – marks the first time Peacock will be the exclusive home of an NFL game. The Peacock exclusive immediately follows the Holiday Special Saturday afternoon game (Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals vs. T.J. Watt and the Pittsburgh Steelers) at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

NBC Sports’ B1G Saturday Night team – Noah Eagle (play-by-play), Todd Blackledge (analyst) and Kathryn Tappen (sideline reporter) – will call Bengals-Steelers. Three-time Super Bowl referee Terry McAulay will serve as rules analyst for both games.

In January, Peacock will also be the home of the first-ever exclusive live streamed NFL Playoff game, presenting an NFL Wild Card Playoff in primetime on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024. With the two Saturday NFL Wild Card games and a Sunday primetime NFL Wild Card game (on NBC and Peacock), NBCUniversal will be the first media company to present three NFL Playoff games in a single weekend (January 2024).

The Peacock exclusive Wild Card game and regular season game will be broadcast on NBC stations in the competing team cities, and available on mobile devices with NFL+. The NFL is the only sports league that presents all regular-season and postseason games on free, over-the-air television in local markets.

NBC’s coverage of Sunday Night Football is led by coordinating producer Rob Hyland and director Drew Esocoff. Sam Flood is Executive Producer & President, NBC Sports Production. Fred Gaudelli is executive producer of NBC Sports’ NFL coverage.
