NBCSN Has Televised Three of the Five Most-Watched BPL Matches in Cable History In Past Five Weeks, With 979,000 Viewers for Arsenal-Chelsea on Sunday

STAMFORD, Conn. - April 29, 2015 - Heading into the final month of the 2014-15 Premier League season, Chelsea continue their campaign to secure the Premier League title against Crystal Palace this Sunday, May 3 at 8:30 a.m. ET, highlighting NBC Sports Group’s Premier League coverage this weekend. Coming off a 3-1 win over Leicester City today, the Blues can clinch their fourth Premier League title in club history with a win against Crystal Palace. NBC Sports Group’s lead play-by-play announcer Arlo White calls the match, joined by analyst Graeme Le Saux at Stamford Bridge.

This past Sunday’s Arsenal-Chelsea match, a 0-0 draw between two of the Premier League’s top teams, averaged 979,000 viewers to rank as the fourth most-watched BPL match in cable history. In the past five weeks, NBCSN has televised three of the five most-watched Premier League matches in cable history.

Weekend Premier League coverage begins this Saturday, May 2, at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN followed by Leicester City v. Newcastle at 7:45 a.m. ET on NBCSN and NBC UNIVERSO. Coverage continues at 10 a.m. ET with Liverpool v. Queens Park Rangers. Matches not featured on NBCSN in the Saturday, 10 a.m. ET television window will be available on Premier League Extra Time, a bonus television package available to MVPDs at no extra cost for customers who receive NBCSN.

Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET, CNBC hosts coverage of fourth-place Manchester United v. West Bromwich Albion. United will be looking to rebound following a 3-0 loss to Everton on Sunday. White calls the match, joined by analyst Lee Dixon at Old Trafford.

This Sunday, May 3, at 6:30 a.m. ET, NBCSN presents an encore presentation of Premier League Download: Pundits at the Pub. The episode, shot during NBC Sports Group’s full on-site studio coverage from the U.K., features host Rebecca Lowe and analysts Robbie Earle, Kyle Martino and Robbie Mustoe with NBC’s UK-based team of Arlo White, Lee Dixon, Graeme Le Saux and Steve Bower. The team’s discussion covers everything from English clubs’ recent struggles in European competition to the lost art of defending.

On Sunday at 11 a.m. ET, Tottenham and their leading scorer Harry Kane (20 goals, second-most in BPL) v. second-place Manchester City and Premier League leading scorer Sergio Aguero (21 goals) on NBCSN and NBC UNIVERSO.

NBCSN presents a new episode of Premier League Download Sunday at 2 p.m. ET in Premier League Download: I Was There. This new Download episode peels back the curtain on the NBC announce team’s trip to England earlier this month. With never-before-seen first-person footage captured by the eight US and UK-based on-air personalities during their travels, this unique edition of Download is must-watch television for fans of the Premier League.

Live match coverage continues on Monday, May 4, with Hull City v. third-place Arsenal at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN and NBC UNIVERSO.

All matches will be preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn. Lowe hosts Premier League Live alongside Martino and Earle.
