Aston Villa-Arsenal Match Delivers Total Audience Delivery of 1.39 Million English-Language Viewers, Second-Most Watched Match of 2023-24 Season

STAMFORD, Conn. – December 13, 2023 Mohamed Salah and first-place Liverpool host Scott McTominay and Manchester United this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET on NBC, Peacock, and Telemundo, headlining NBC Sports’ Premier League coverage this week.

Liverpool moved to the top of the Premier League table following a 2-1 come-from-behind victory against Crystal Palace last weekend, as Salah and Harvey Elliott scored late following a Crystal Palace red card in the 75th minute. Manchester United are looking to rebound from a 3-0 loss to Bournemouth at Old Trafford, the first time that United had lost by at least three goals at home to a team which started the match in the bottom half of the table. Jon Champion and Lee Dixon will have the call from Anfield. Telemundo will also present coverage of Liverpool-Manchester United in Spanish.

This week’s coverage begins Friday at 2 p.m. ET on USA Network with Premier League Live, leading into Nottingham Forest v. Tottenham at 3 p.m. ET (USA Network, Universo). Saturday’s coverage begins at 9 a.m. ET with Premier League Mornings on USA Network, leading into four matches at 10 a.m. ET, headlined by Manchester City v. Crystal Palace (USA Network, Telemundo and Universo). Peacock will also stream coverage of three 10 a.m. ET matches – Chelsea v. Sheffield United, Newcastle v. Fulham, and Bournemouth v. Luton Town – and the Goal Rush whip-around show to provide viewers the most compelling action in real time and on replay so they won’t miss a single goal or key play. Saturday’s slate of games concludes on NBC and Peacock at 12:30 p.m. ET when Burnley host Everton. Peter Drury and Dixon will have the call of Burnley-Everton from Turf Moor.

Sunday’s coverage begins at 8 a.m. ET on USA Network with Premier League Mornings, leading into three 9 a.m. ET matches – Arsenal v. Brighton & Hove Albion (USA Network, Telemundo), Brentford v. Aston Villa (Peacock) and West Ham v. Wolverhampton Wanderers (Peacock).

Rebecca Lowe hosts Saturday and Sunday’s Premier League Mornings, Premier League Live and Goal Zone shows alongside former Premier League player Robbie Mustoe and former USMNT and Premier League player Tim Howard. Anna Jackson hosts Friday’s coverage with Howard and former Premier League player Danny Higginbotham.

Throughout the 2023-24 season, Premier League coverage will be featured across NBC, Peacock and USA Network. Peacock continues its expansive coverage of the Premier League this season — including exclusive matches, all games airing live on the NBC broadcast network, studio shows, full match replays, and more. USA Network begins its second full season as the cable home of the PL. Telemundo, Universo and Peacock will provide extensive Spanish-language coverage.

ASTON VILLA-ARSENAL MATCH DELIVERS SECOND-MOST WATCHED MATCH OF 2023-24 SEASON

NBC Sports’ coverage of Aston Villa v. Arsenal last Saturday on NBC and Peacock produced a Total Audience Delivery of 1.39 million English-language viewers to rank as its second-most watched match of the 2023-24 season, trailing only the Arsenal-Manchester United match from Matchweek 4 on NBC and Peacock (1.48 million viewers).

Through last week’s matches, the 2023-24 Premier League season has delivered a TAD of 526,000 viewers to rank as the most-watched season to date since 2015-16, and up 7% vs. 2022-23.
