STAMFORD, Conn. – Dec. 17, 2020 – Beginning this weekend, NBC Sports presents a Premier League packed holiday season with 40 “festive fixtures” in 17 days, highlighted by Everton hosting Arsenal this Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Universo and a top-five matchup this Sunday as Leicester City visit Tottenham at 9:15 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Telemundo.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is tied for the Premier League lead with 11 goals, and fifth-place Everton topped Leicester City, 2-0, yesterday. Also on Wednesday, Arsenal drew with Southampton, 1-1, behind a goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Arlo White and former Premier League player Graeme Le Saux will call the match live from Goodison Park.
Sunday’s match between second-place Tottenham and fourth-place Leicester City features three of the Premier League’s top five scorers this season: Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son (tied for first with 11 goals) and Harry Kane (tied for fifth with nine goals), and Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy (fourth with 10 goals). Kane also leads the PL with 10 assists this season.
This weekend’s coverage begins Saturday at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Mornings, followed by Mohamed Salah and Liverpool, who defeated Tottenham yesterday to move atop the table, visiting Crystal Palace at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo. Next at 10 a.m. ET, third-place Southampton host Manchester City on NBCSN and Universo. Following Everton-Arsenal at 12:30 p.m. ET, Newcastle host Fulham at 3 p.m. ET on Peacock Premium.
Liam McHugh (Saturday) and Ahmed Fareed (Sunday) host Goal Zone, Premier League Mornings, and Premier League Live this weekend, joined by former Premier League footballers Danny Higginbotham and Robbie Mustoe. Fareed hosts coverage on Monday with Higginbotham and former Jamaica National Team player Robbie Earle.
Sunday’s match action begins at 7 a.m. on Peacock Premium as Sheffield United visit Brighton & Hove Albion. At 11:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Telemundo, Marcus Rashford and Manchester United host Patrick Bamford and Leeds United. White and Le Saux will call the action live from Old Trafford. Following Manchester United-Leeds United, West Brom host Aston Villa at 2:15 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
On Monday, Premier League coverage begins at Noon ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN, followed by Burnley v. Wolverhampton Wanderers at 12:30 p.m. ET (NBCSN). The weekend’s match action concludes at 3 p.m. ET as Christian Pulisic and Chelsea host West Ham at Stamford Bridge on NBCSN and Universo.
Monday’s coverage continues with Goal Zone at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by a new episode of THE MEN IN BLAZERS SHOW, hosted by Roger Bennett and Michael Davies, at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN with special guest John Oliver.
