Road Trip: NBC Sports Group’s Entire Premier League Coverage to Originate From the U.K. on April 11-13

STAMFORD, Conn. - Mar. 30, 2015 - Third-place Arsenal host fifth-place Liverpool this Saturday, April 4, at 7:45 a.m. ET on NBCSN and NBC UNIVERSO, kicking off NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League action. Coverage begins at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN. Arsenal are on a six-match Premier League winning streak, with forwards Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez tied for the team scoring lead (13 goals, fifth-most in BPL). Liverpool look to keep their Champions League hopes alive with a win against the Gunners on Saturday.

Live match coverage continues Saturday at 10 a.m. ET when fourth-place Manchester United host Aston Villa on NBCSN and NBC UNIVERSO. Manchester United come off a thrilling 2-1 victory over Liverpool, featuring a pair of Juan Mata goals for the Red Devils, securing their fourth straight league win and moving the team five points clear of Liverpool.

Matches not featured on NBCSN in the Saturday 11 a.m. ET television window will be available on Premier League Extra Time, a bonus television package available to MVPDs at no extra cost for customers who receive NBCSN.

Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET, NBC and NBC UNIVERSO present first-place Chelsea and forward Diego Costa (19 goals, tied for most in BPL) v. Stoke City. NBC Sports Group’s lead Premier League play-by-play announcer Arlo White calls the match joined by analyst Lee Dixon at Stamford Bridge.

Coverage on Sunday, April 5, kicks off at 7:30 a.m. ET with Premier League Live, followed by Burnley v. Tottenham at 8:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and NBC UNIVERSO. Spurs’ forward Harry Kane scored his first Premier League hat trick in the club’s 4-3 win against Leicester City on Mar. 21, bringing his season total to 19 goals (tied with Costa for most in BPL). Sunderland host Newcastle in the Tyne-Wear derby at 11 a.m. ET Sunday on NBCSN, wrapping up NBC Sports Group’s weekend match coverage.

Weekday match coverage begins Monday at 2 p.m. ET with Premier League Live, followed by Crystal Palace v. second-place Manchester City at 3 p.m. ET. Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. ET, NBCSN presents Aston Villa v. Queens Park Rangers.

All matches will be preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn. Rebecca Lowe hosts Premier League Live alongside former Major League Soccer and U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Kyle Martino and former Jamaica National Team player Robbie Earle.

NBC SPORTS GROUP’S ENTIRE PREMIER LEAGUE COVERAGE TO ORIGINATE FROM U.K. ON APRIL 11-13

For the first time since NBC Sports Group kicked off its Premier League coverage in August 2013, the entire Premier League team will work together on-location in the United Kingdom on April 11-13. Host Rebecca Lowe and analysts Robbie Earle, Kyle Martino and Robbie Mustoe will join NBC’s UK-based team of Arlo White, Lee Dixon, Graeme Le Saux and Steve Bower for more than 18 hours of live on-site Premier League coverage across three days. Coverage features two on-site studios at each stadium, including pitch-side sets at Old Trafford for the Manchester Derby, Anfield for Liverpool-Newcastle, and Turf Moor for Burnley-Arsenal.
