New York Yankees visit Philadelphia Phillies this Week on Sunday Night Baseball at 7 p.m. ET on NBC & Peacock
STAMFORD, Conn. – July 22, 2026 – NBC Sports’ presentation of the Los Angeles Dodgers-New York Yankees game this past Sunday was the second-most watched Sunday Night Baseball game since 2011 averaging 3.9 million viewers on NBC and Peacock, based on official Nielsen Big Data + Panel and digital data from Adobe Analytics.
Coupled with the New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox game on June 28, which averaged 4.0 million viewers on NBC and Peacock, NBC Sports in the past month has presented the two most-watched Sunday Night Baseball games in 15 years (since Yankees-Red Sox, August 7, 2011).
Dodgers-Yankees also featured the largest peak audience of the season for Sunday Night Baseball, as 4.6 million viewers watched from 9:45-10 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock as Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the eighth inning. Chisholm’s home run was the winning hit in New York’s 2-1 victory.
Sunday Night Baseball continues this Sunday, July 26 at 7 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock, as the New York Yankees visit the Philadelphia Phillies in a matchup of teams within three games of first place in their respective divisions.
