New York, NY – Sept. 28, 2026 – In anticipation of its exclusive coverage of the Major League Baseball Wild Card Series presented by AbbVie, NBC Sports will transform NBC’s 30 Rockefeller Center into a larger-than-life baseball celebration tomorrow, Sept. 29, and Wednesday, Sept. 30, featuring a 25-foot-tall “House of (Wild) Cards” and a series of fan activations as postseason coverage gets underway across NBC, Peacock and NBCSN.

“By bringing the MLB Wild Card Series to 30 Rock, we’re giving fans an interactive destination that celebrates one of the biggest moments on the baseball calendar.” said Lyndsay Signor, Senior Vice President of Sports Marketing, NBC Sports “We are excited to continue creating experiences for fans that extend the excitement of our marquee NBC Sports tentpoles.”

Featuring 26 custom oversized trading cards that each highlight one of the four Wild Card matchups, the “House of (Wild) Cards” serves as the centerpiece of two days of fan experiences at 30 Rockefeller Center. Additional activations include:

  • A visit from the Topps Truck, which will give away sample MLB trading card packs to fans in attendance while supplies last.
  • Watch parties featuring a large viewing screen where fans can enjoy coverage of MLB Wild Card games on Tuesday, Sept. 29, and Wednesday, Sept. 30.

NBC SPORTS’ MLB TRADITION

NBC Sports has a distinguished history with Major League Baseball. The first-ever MLB television broadcast was a 1939 Cincinnati Reds-Brooklyn Dodgers doubleheader on W2XBS (the precursor to WNBC-TV) in New York. For the 2022-23 seasons, Peacock was the exclusive home of MLB Sunday Leadoff, a first-of-its-kind Sunday morning presentation featuring a unique three-announcer broadcast booth with one analyst with expertise on each team joining the play-by-play voice.
