STAMFORD, Conn. – July 15, 2026 – The WNBA’s Sunday Night Basketball debut between the Indiana Fever and the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces on July 12 averaged a Total Audience Delivery (TAD) of 2.64 million viewers on NBC and Peacock in primetime, making it the most-watched game of the 2026 WNBA season, based on official Nielsen Big Data + Panel and digital data from Adobe Analytics. Fever-Aces is also the most-watched WNBA regular-season Sunday game since 1998 and second most-watched WNBA Regular-Season game since 2000.
Led by guard Kelsey Mitchell’s 27 points, the Fever’s 34-point victory, 109-75, over the Aces peaked at 2.8 million viewers from 10:30-10:45 p.m. ET. Fever-Aces (8:54-11:08 p.m. ET), which also featured four-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson (Aces) and three-time WNBA All-Star Caitlin Clark (Fever), was the first-ever WNBA regular-season Sunday game in primetime on a broadcast network.
NBC Sports has averaged a TAD of 1.5 million viewers for its four games this season on NBC and Peacock, up 71% vs. comparable coverage last season and most of any WNBA media partner this season. This is NBC Sports’ first season with WNBA coverage since 2002.
NBC Sports’ WNBA coverage continues on Monday, July 20, at 8 p.m. ET on Peacock and NBCSN with the defending champion Las Vegas Aces and A’ja Wilson visiting 2026 WNBA All-Star Marina Mabrey and the Toronto Tempo.
