All Nine Stages of Tour de France Femmes (Aug. 1-9) Will Be Presented Live from Start-to-Finish on Peacock

NBC Sports’ Cycling Play-by-Play Voice Phil Liggett Will Call Stages 8 and 9 Alongside Former Professional Cyclist Megan Guarnier
STAMFORD, Conn. – July 29, 2026 – NBC Sports’ coverage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes (Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift) begins this Saturday, Aug. 1, with Stage 1 starting at 9:45 a.m. ET on Peacock. Peacock will stream live start-to-finish coverage of every stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes.
This year’s Grand Départ will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland, marking the Tour’s second foreign start in the modern race’s history after the race began in the Netherlands in 2024.
The richest and most prestigious stage race in women’s cycling, the 2026 Tour de France Femmes will cover approximately 1,175 kilometers over nine stages from Aug. 1-9, featuring 22 teams and 154 riders. The first two stages will take place in Switzerland before the route crosses into France for the finish of Stage 3 and the remaining six stages.
Expected yellow jersey frontrunners in this year’s field include defending champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot (Team Visma-Lease a Bike) of France; 2023 Tour and 2026 Giro d’Italia Women winner Demi Vollering (FDJ United-Suez) of the Netherlands; and Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney (Canyon-SRAM zondacrypto) of Poland, who won the Tour in 2024 and has finished on the podium every year since 2022.
Daily live coverage culminates with the penultimate Stage 8 from Sisteron on Aug. 8, and final Stage 9 from Nice on Aug. 9 at 9:30 a.m. ET on Peacock and NBCSN.
