STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 23, 2026 – After 30 rounds throughout the 2026 Supercross, Pro Motocross, and playoff seasons, the 2026 SuperMotocross World Championship Final begins this Saturday from Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Mo., at 7 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock and NBCSN. Pre-race coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. ET on Peacock and NBCSN. Jorge Prado leads the 450SMX Class, with Haiden Deegan and Hunter Lawrence only 16 points apiece behind, while Levi Kitchen sits in first place in the 250SMX Class with a slim three-point lead over Ryder DiFrancesco.
The penultimate race of the SMX World Championship from Los Angeles last weekend saw Jorge Prado take home the win by a single point in the 450SMX class over runner-up Hunter Lawrence and third-place Ken Roczen. Prado now sits 16 points ahead of Haiden Deegan and Lawrence in the SMX World Championship standings going into the final race. In the 250SMX class, Julien Beaumer won his first-ever Playoff race, with Levi Kitchen maintaining his narrow lead in the overall World Championship standings ahead of Ryder DiFrancesco and Beaumer. Both current points leaders, Prado and Kitchen, would be in line for their first-ever World Championship titles this weekend.
NBC Sports’ Jason Weigandt will call the race alongside 15-time AMA champion Ricky Carmichael and three-time AMA champion James Stewart. Will Christien and Jason Thomas will serve as reporters.
Carmichael and nine-time AMA Champion Ryan Villopoto recap the penultimate round of the SMX World Championship on the latest episode of the Title 24 podcast, which is available here.
Race Day Live qualifying coverage this Saturday from Thunder Ridge Nature Arena gets underway at 1 p.m. ET on Peacock and NCBSN featuring Justin Brayton, Adam Cianciarulo, Haley Shanley, and Steven “Lurch” Scott.
