    Giants waived DT RJ McIntosh.
He was the 139th overall pick in the 2018 draft. McIntosh registered two sacks across 18 career games with the G-Men, playing 179 total snaps on defense. Slow as can be coming out of Miami, McIntosh will look for a new home.

Giants activated DT RJ McIntosh from the non-football illness list.
Tuesday was the final day the Giants could activate McIntosh. A fifth-round pick out of Miami, McIntosh missed the entire offseason program and the start of the season with a medical condition. He will likely be brought along slowly.

Giants selected Miami DT RJ McIntosh with the No. 139 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft.
McIntosh (6’5/286) turned pro after three seasons at The U, logging 23 career tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks and earning second-team All-ACC in 2017. PFF College charted McIntosh with 30 run stops last season, fourth-most among draft-eligible interior defensive linemen. He also gave Notre Dame LG Quenton Nelson one of his toughest challenges all season last November. Not edge-rusher material, McIntosh managed a 5.12 forty and molasses-slow 7.78 three-cone time at the Hurricanes’ Pro Day. McIntosh’s best shot at a pro career will be to embrace a full-time three-technique role.

Giants fifth-round DT RJ McIntosh will “have a procedure” for an undisclosed injury.
It’s unclear what the issue is, but McIntosh was diagnosed with a thyroid condition at the Combine. When healthy, he will compete for a reserve interior role.
