Cedi Osman played 29 minutes off the bench in Saturday’s win over the Wizards, accounting for 19 points (7-of-13 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, five assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers.
Osman has been a valuable reserve for the Cavaliers all season long, and he came up especially big Saturday night. His scoring was key due to Kevin Love (4/5/3/1/1) shooting 1-of-10 from the field, with Osman being responsible for 19 of the Cavaliers’ 23 bench points. And he was asked to serve as the primary playmaker during the second half when spot starter Brandon Goodwin needed a rest, taking over those responsibilities from RJ Nembhard (one assist in four minutes). Osman is rostered in just 6% of Yahoo leagues, and that number should increase so long as the Cavs remain without starting point guard Darius Garland (back).
