Falcons signed Arkansas RB Ronnie Wingo.
Wingo (6-foot-1, 231) was not an especially productive college player, but has an intriguing size-speed combination after running 4.47 at the Razorbacks’ March Pro Day. Backing up Knile Davis and Dennis Johnson at Arkansas, Wingo averaged 5.29 yards per career carry and caught 59 passes. With plus size for pass protection, he could develop into an NFL third-down back.

Bills practice squad RB Ronnie Wingo will travel to Cleveland for Thursday night’s game against the Browns.
Wingo, an undrafted rookie out of Arkansas, will be insurance in case Fred Jackson (knee) or C.J. Spiller (ankle) end up scratched. Tashard Choice is the only healthy back on the Bills 53-man roster right now.

    Bills waived RB Tashard Choice.
The Bills will roll with undrafted rookie Ronnie Wingo behind Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller. The 29-year-old Choice rushed 35 times for 126 yards (3.60 YPC) with no touchdowns on the season, failing to secure a real role with college coach Chan Gailey gone.

    Bills waived RB Ronnie Wingo.
Wingo, a priority UDFA pickup out of Arkansas in 2013, spent last season on the Bills’ practice squad. His fate for this year was sealed when Buffalo traded for Bryce Brown.

Bills promoted RB Ronnie Wingo from the practice squad.
This is a sure sign that C.J. Spiller (ankle, doubtful) will be held out against the Saints. Wingo will be the No. 3 behind Fred Jackson and Tashard Choice.
