Chargers signed Kansas State OLB Ryan Mueller.
Mueller (6'2/245) walked on at K-State and went on to become a 26-game starter, tallying 33.5 career TFLs, 20.5 sacks, and five forced fumbles. He was a first-team All-Big 12 selection by the conference’s coaches as both a junior and senior. Already undersized, Mueller’s sub-optimal athleticism was exposed at the Wildcats’ Pro Day, running 4.84 with an 8-foot-9 broad jump. Mueller excelled as a college player with extreme hustle, but his limitations are a lock to show up in the pros. He would do well to become a useful sub-package pass rusher.

Eagles signed FB Ryan Mueller, formerly of the Chargers, to a two-year contract.
He entered the league as a linebacker last season but the Eagles plan to use him at fullback. Mueller went undrafted out of Kansas State and spent last year on the Chargers’ practice squad.
