The Magic announced on Saturday that they’ve waived Simi Shittu.
Shittu signed with the Magic in August after playing with Indiana in summer league. This won’t affect any fantasy hoops leagues, since he probably wasn’t going to see any playing time in Orlando’s deep frontcourt.

According to Yahoo’s Chris Haynes, Simi Shittu has agreed to a deal with the Magic.
Shittu’s signing won’t move the needle for fantasy purposes, as he’s unlikely to see much playing time in a frontcourt already loaded with Mo Bamba, Wendell Carter Jr and Paolo Banchero.

Free-agent PF/C Simi Shittu will play in Summer League for the Pacers.
Shittu has bounced around the Association and spent time in the G League since entering the NBA Draft out of Vanderbilt in 2019. It’s highly unlikely this stint in the Summer League will lead to a standard NBA contract.

The Knicks will sign Simi Shittu to a two-way contract, according to SNY’s Ian Begley.
The signing of Shittu, who played well for the Knicks’ G-League affiliate in the bubble earlier this year, will give New York a full roster. Joining Theo Pinson as the Knicks two players on two-way contracts, Shittu won’t offer anything as far as fantasy value is concerned.

The Bulls have waived Smisola Shittu.
He did have a nice game for Chicago during the preseason, so perhaps he’ll ink a deal with their G League affiliate.

Simi Shittu played 12 minutes off the bench in Friday’s win over the Thunder, scoring 13 points (6-of-8 FGs, 1-of-4 FTs) with six rebounds, one assist and one steal.
Shittu was one of the reserves who sparked the Bulls’ rally in Oklahoma City, making a good final impression before the front office finalizes the regular season roster. Shittu won’t be a worthwhile fantasy option in any format, but his outing Friday night may help him in the eyes of Arturas Karnisovas and Billy Donovan.

  • NBA Point Guard #9
The Bulls have released Milton Doyle, Justin Simon and Simisola Shittu.
All three players were camp invites and will likely head to the Bulls G-League affiliate to start the season. Chicago’s roster now stands at 16.

Simisola Shittu has reportedly agreed to a contract with the Bulls.
The Vanderbilt power forward went undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, but he’ll have a chance to earn a roster spot with the Bulls. We don’t anticipate him being fantasy relevant, though.

Vanderbilt freshman power forward Simi Shittu announced Wednesday that he is entering the 2019 NBA Draft.
Shittu (6'10/240) is the second Vanderbilt player to enter this year’s draft after one season on campus, joining point guard Darius Garland. However unlike Garland, who’s viewed by many to be a likely lottery pick despite missing most of the season due to injury, Shittu has some work to do in order to ensure that his name is called in June. This season he averaged 10.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game, shooting 46.8% from the field and 57.6% from the foul line. Shittu, who suffered a torn ACL during his high school senior year, is ranked 81st among draft-eligible prospects by ESPN.com. Due to that injury, how explosive he is in workouts and athletic testing will go certainly have an impact on Shittu’s draft outlook.
