The status of Schweinsteiger’s injury is yet to be determined, as he is traveling to Munich to be further examined and diagnosed.
In addition to Schweinsteiger, who has missed significant time this season with club side Manchester United due to injury, Mesut Ozil and Karim Bellarabi were each sidelined during Germany’s training session on Wednesday.
Depending on the severity of the injuries, the players could miss both of Die Mannschaft’s upcoming friendlies against England and Italy, as Löw and his team continue preparations for the 2016 Euro Championships.
