Mexico 3-3 Trinidad & Tobago
In Ricardo Ferretti’s first match in charge of El Tri, he was lucky to escape with a draw as Mexico came back from two goals down to finish 3-3 against Trinidad & Tobago in Utah. T&T was up 2-0 within the opening 40 minutes, although Carlos Esquivel was able to pull one back before halftime, with Mexico going into the break down 2-1. The sides would trade goals in the second half as T&T led 3-2, but Hector Herrera drew Mexico level with a top-corner strike from about 30 yards out in the 85th minute.

Argentina 7-0 Bolivia
Argentina travelled to Houston to take on Bolivia and made light work of their opponents, scoring seven goals in a rout at BBVA Compass Stadium. Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, and Ezequiel Lavezzi had two goals each, with Angel Correa adding lucky number seven. Argentina controlled 70-percent of possession, while Everton’s new signing Ramiro Funes Mori made his first start for his country.
Portugal 0-1 France
With France automatically into EURO 2016 as the host country, Didier Deschamps’ side took on Portugal in a friendly, as Cristiano Ronaldo & Co. had the matchday off from European qualifiers. Both sides put out very strong teams, with Mathieu Valbuena’s free kick in the 85th minute the difference. Manchester United’s $55 million signing Anthony Martial replaced Karim Benzema for the final 15 minutes of the match, as the 19-year-old made his first appearance for the French senior squad.
