After finishing top of Group B, Jamaica drew Haiti, the plucky underdogs from Group A who second finished ahead of Honduras and Panama, for a right to face the US national team, winners of Group A.

Giles Barnes scored the game’s only goal with just seven minutes on the clock. Rodolph Austin crossed the ball to the Houston Dynamo man at the near post, where the English-born attacker controlled the ball and finished past goalkeeper Johny Placide from an extremely tight angle.

Barnes gives Jamaica an early 1-0 lead, squeaking it through Placide’s legs from an impossible angle. #GoldCup2015 http://t.co/WfjFCK4773

The Reggae Boyz will face the USMNT in the semifinals at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Ga., where they’ll do battle for a place in the finals. Mexico, Costa Rica, Trinidad and Tobago and Panama, who fill out the other half of the quarterfinal bracket, play for places in the semis on Sunday.
