The game in 100 words (or less): Colorado erased a first half deficit to take a share of the points at a rainy Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Mauro Diaz put Dallas ahead at the break, but the play completely changed in the second half. The match became much more physical, and Blas Perez was sent off for Dallas for an off-the-ball confrontation. With a man advantage Colorado rallied, as the last place Rapids earned a draw against one of the top teams in the West.

Three moments that mattered
31' -- Diaz finishes Castillo’s brilliant run -- Fabian Castillo darted down the right flank, leaving one defender on the floor before cutting by another. Castillo slid a cross through the box, where Mauro Diaz finished into the roof of the net.
59' -- Blas Perez shown straight red for Dallas -- The match took a chippy turn in the second half, culminating with Blas Perez being sent off at the hour mark. It was unclear as to what happened on the play, but it looked like Perez caught Drew Moor with an arm to the neck, earning him an early trip to the showers.
79' -- LaBrocca ties it up for COL -- Colorado took advantage of playing a man up, with Nick LaBrocca finishing off a lovely bit of play from the Rapids. Dillon Powers headed a looping ball back across the box, where LaBrocca tapped home before being clattered by Dan Kennedy.

Man of the match: Fabian Castillo -- Still only 22-years-old, Fabian Castillo has already made over 120 appearances for Dallas. The young Colombian winger was in top form tonight, using his speed to get in behind the Colorado defense, as his individual effort in the first half helped set up Mauro Diaz’s goal.
