The ledge above the fireplace in Mohamed Salah’s house is getting a little crowded...

On Sunday the Premier League confirmed that Salah, 25, had been crowned their Player of the Season for 2017/18.

The Liverpool forward has already won the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and the Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year and he now has a clean sweep of the big individual awards.

Salah’s incredible season has seen him score 43 goals in 50 games in all competitions as Liverpool are in the UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid and the Egyptian has also put them in a great position to reach the top four going into the final day of the campaign.

Aside from his blistering pace, trickery and a sudden knack for sublime finishing, Salah’s humble nature has also impressed and he’s a worthy winner following his fine first season at Liverpool following his move from AS Roma last summer.
