Official: Four-year deal for Pedro at Chelsea after $34 million purchase from Barcelona

The longtime Barcelona man has swapped the Camp Nou for Stamford Bridge on a four-year deal, with Chelsea paying approximately $34 million to snare the odd man out from Barca’s forward triumveiate of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.

Linked with Manchester United all summer, the 28-year-old makes the move to London instead, bringing international acclaim in tow. Barcelona issued a statement thanking Pedro for his professionalism, and said about $4 million of the transfer fee is conditional.From Chelseafc.com:
The 28-year-old has accumulated three Champions Leagues and five La Liga titles, as well as being a world and European champion on the international stage.
He said: ‘I am very happy to be here. I am very excited to start my adventure at Chelsea and I am here to keep winning titles.
‘Thanks to the club and the supporters for giving me the opportunity to put the blue shirt on.’
