Fan footage.

It can provide a glimpse into worlds in which we never reside, and give us views from angles we’d never see on television.

This falls into the latter.

When Barcelona’s Luis Suarez danced past Paris Saint-Germain’s David Luiz in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League contest in France, we all got a glimpse of good footballing at work.

But one fan at the Parc des Princes got a brilliant, field-level view of his work and a scream that would make former Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick nod in understanding.

Suffice it to say Luis was pleased with his goal, the win, and the ‘meg (and excuse the fan caption. I celebrate all good-natured screams, regardless of where they fit into a preconceived gender spectrum. Like this one, which sounds like that of the stereotypical teenage female dating back to the “Beatles” era).
