It’s the final weekend of Liga MX’s Apertura season, and the summer-to-fall campaign is set to close with a real doozy of a matchup Saturday night, as second-place Pachuca hosts fifth-place Club America (Watch live, 8 p.m. ET on NBCUniverso.com) at Estadio Hidalgo, the two sides separated by just three points in the standings.

A win would send U.S. national team defender Omar Gonzalez’s (on the bench tonight) Pachuca, winners of the Clausura in May, top of the table, ahead of Club Tijuana on goal differential, and secure the top seed in the upcoming Apertura tournament. If the playoffs started today, America would be the five-seed and play away to Chivas de Guadalajara in a supercharged, postseason edition of the Super Clasico.
