Lionel Messi subbed into the match in the 61st minute, scored within minutes and then did it again to break open Argentina’s Copa America group stage match with Panama.
The second goal was a sensational free kick, a left-footed swipe that bent at a vicious angle to zip inside the near post.

Argentina is onto the knockout rounds with a 5-0 win in a cagey match at Soldier Field in Chicago on Friday.
Nicolas Otamendi headed home and Angel Di Maria free kick in the 7th minute, but Panama held 1-0 into halftime. Sergio Aguero rounded out the scoring.

The loss leaves Panama to duke it out with Chile on Tuesday in Philadelphia. Each has three points, with Bolivia holding zero.
