Eyeing a third-consecutive win in all contests, Arsenal hit the road to Selhurst Park tomorrow to clash with Crystal Palace.

The result, combined with the outcomes of Swansea-Manchester United and Southampton-Liverpool, will determine if Arsene Wenger’s crew scales the league table further.

The Gunners’ boss recognized that Crystal Palace, buoyed by staunch support, will undoubtedly be dangerous on home turf. After all, the Eagles nearly drew a point out of their contest at the Emirates in August.

“It’s always a very tense and very dynamic ground. It’s an old-fashioned stadium...with a crowd that is always behind their team, so we expect a passionate afternoon,” he said.

Wenger also offered his insight on the incident of racism in Paris that initially involved three Chelsea fans.

“It looked pathetic and dreadful. Unfortunately, we have an recurrence of that always, but you have to be extremely severe with any incident of that caliber.”

He added: "[It’s] society’s problem. More intelligent people than myself will think about that.”
