Vikings signed Virginia Tech WR Tre Turner.
A four-year contributor at Virginia Tech, Turner (6'1/184) finished his college career with a 134-2,292-14 receiving line and a 53-456-4 rushing line in 43 career games. He did not look like an above-average athlete in college, but Turner’s pre-draft testing was shockingly poor. Turner ran a respectable 4.51 40 but posted lineman-esque 27-inch vertical and 9-foot-5 broad jumps with a basement-tier agility score. Turner was a consistent producer who showed an ability to win in contested situations and with the ball in his hands, but his ability to compete athletically in the NFL is a big question mark.
