    Texans re-signed P Bryan Anger.
Anger was cut in favor of Trevor Daniel at the end of the preseason, but Bill O’Brien has changed his mind. Anger, who is most notably the punter who was drafted ahead of Russell Wilson in the third round of the 2012 draft, has spent three seasons with the Bucs.
  • Texans signed Tennessee P Trevor Daniel.
Daniel (6’2/230) was the Vols’ punter for three years, setting school records for single-season punting average as a senior (47.5) and career yards per punt (45.9). Daniel is a plus athlete for the position with big-time leg power but shakier reputations for accuracy and consistency.
