Angels re-signed RHP Willian Suarez to a minor league contract.
The 25-year-old right-hander joined the Angels’ organization prior to the 2023 season where he posted a 3.78 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and a 57/40 K/BB ratio across 52 1/3 innings between High-A Tri-City and Double-A Rocket City. He’s likely to begin the 2024 campaign back at Double-A where he’ll add bullpen depth for the Halos.
