Tina Charles, the 2012 WNBA MVP and three-time Olympic gold medalist, will be joining NBC Sports’ WNBA coverage as a feature contributor.
Charles is joining NBC Sports’ WNBA studio team, which includes hosts Maria Taylor and LaChina Robinson, and analysts and Hall of Famers Sue Bird and Cheryl Miller.
Charles’ debut will be Monday, Aug. 24 at 10 p.m. ET, when the Atlanta Dream take on the Los Angeles Sparks on Peacock and NBCSN.

The league’s all-time leading rebounder retired from professional play in May after a 14-season career in which she was selected to eight WNBA All-Star Games, earned nine All-WNBA honors and was named to the WNBA 25th Anniversary Team.
Additionally, Charles was a two-time recipient of the Dawn Staley Community Leadership Award (2012, 2025) due to her work with her Hopey’s Heart Foundation.
