Yefry Ramirez has signed a one-year deal with the Hanwha Eagles of the Korea Baseball Organization.
Ramirez gets $600,000 total in the deal, and that includes $100,000 from a signing bonus, $275,000 in salary and the rest in buyout fees. The right-hander made eight starts with Triple-A Oklahoma City in the Dodgers’ organization in 2022 after re-signing with Los Angeles in January, but now will make his way overseas for the remainder of the year. A strong showing in the KBO could see him increase his stock substantially for the 2023 campaign.

Dodgers reassigned RHP’s Sam Gaviglio, Bobby Wahl, Robbie Erlin, Sam Duplantier and Yefry Ramirez, INF’s Kody House, Miguel Vargas and Michael Busch, OF’s Andy Pages and Ryan Noda and C’s Carson Taylor and Hunter Feduccia to minor league camp.
There are several prominent names in this first round of cuts from Dodgers’ camp, including Gaviglio, Wahl, Erlin, Duplantier and Ramirez all being jettisoned. There’s plenty of big-league experience among that group and it wouldn’t be surprising to see several of them in the majors this season. Among the position players, Vargas has made an impression this spring, launching some tape-measure homers in Cactus League action.

Dodgers re-signed RHP Yefry Ramirez to a minor league contract.
Ramirez was taken off the 40-man roster back in August. The right-hander was an up-and-down hurler for the Dodgers in 2021, and he’ll get a chance to earn that right again in the Cactus League.

Dodgers designated RHP Yefry Ramirez for assignment.
The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for the addition of Cole Hamels. Ramirez would seem to stand a good chance at clearing waivers.

Dodgers optioned RHP Yefry Ramírez to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Ramírez fired a pair of scoreless frames on Sunday afternoon against the Diamondbacks in his first big-league appearance since September, 2019. The 27-year-old righty will head back to the minors and continue to function as organizational relief depth. There’s a strong possibility he’s back in the Dodgers’ bullpen very soon.

Dodgers purchased the contract of RHP Yefry Ramirez from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
The 27-year-old Ramirez is back in the majors for the first time since the end of the 2019 season. He’s 1-10 with a 6.32 ERA lifetime in 13 starts and 17 relief appearances for the Orioles and Pirates, and he had a 5.49 ERA in Triple-A this year.

Mets signed RHP Yefry Ramirez to a minor league contract.
The deal will presumably come with an invitation to big league camp, though that has yet to be confirmed. The 26-year-old hurler appeared in 13 games between the Orioles and Pirates in 2019, posting a 7.40 ERA, 1.89 WHIP and 27/16 K/BB ratio across 24 1/3 innings.

Pirates sent RHP Yefry Ramirez outright to Triple-A Indianapolis.
Ramirez is now off the 40-man roster. He holds a 6.32 ERA at the major league level.

Pirates activated RHP Yefry Ramirez from the 10-day injured list.
Ramirez has been out since late August with a strained right calf. He’ll give the bullpen some length.

Pirates placed RHP Yefry Ramirez on the 10-day injured list with a right calf strain.
This could very well be a “phantom” injury as the Pirates were probably looking for a way to sit Ramirez down following another disappointing turn Wednesday at Philadelphia (4 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 2 BB). He’s made just two appearances since coming over in a trade with Baltimore and neither of them have gone well (7.04 ERA over 7 2/3 innings). The 25-year-old has spent much of the year at Triple-A and frankly, that’s probably where he belongs.
