Titans coach Mike Mularkey said seventh-round OLB Aaron Wallace’s recovery from a high-ankle sprain has been “amazing.”
Wallace suffered the injury at the start of the camp but has made a rapid recovery and should be back on the practice field soon. He’ll participate in pre-game warmups but won’t play in Saturday’s preseason contest against the Panthers. Wallace will be back in plenty of time for Week 1.

Titans seventh-round OLB Aaron Wallace suffered a high-ankle sprain during Monday’s practice.
Wallace was in a walking boot Tuesday and will likely miss a couple weeks. An athletic but raw edge player, Wallace needs as many practice reps as he can get to earn a role this season.

Titans selected UCLA OLB Aaron Wallace with the No. 222 overall pick of the 2016 NFL draft.
Wallace (6'2/242) made just 10 career starts for the Bruins, leading the team in tackles for loss (12.5) and sacks (7) as a senior to earn honorable mention All-Pac 12 from the conference’s coaches. Wallace’s limited college resume is a concern, but his athleticism isn’t, shredding UCLA’s Pro Day with a 4.59 forty, 36-inch vertical, and 10-foot-10 broad jump. Wallace’s inexperience may delay his NFL transition, but he has big-league pass-rush traits.
