Coach Rex Ryan singled out undrafted rookie WR Andre Davis as a player who has “really taken off” in training camp.
Davis has plus size at 6'1/207 despite poor athletic measurables, and has reportedly been catching everything at camp. It’s still going to be hard for Davis to crack the 53-man roster behind Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods, Percy Harvin, Marcus Easley, and Chris Hogan. He may be a practice-squad option.

    Bills waived WR Andre Davis.
Davis was signed as a priority UDFA out of South Florida and recently drew praise from coach Rex Ryan as a player who stood out at camp. He caught nine passes for 68 yards this preseason and is likely headed to the practice squad.

Bills signed South Florida WR Andre Davis.
Davis (6'1/207) made 30 starts at USF, parlaying 153 catches into 2,136 yards (14.0 YPR) and 17 TDs. He ran 4.60 at his Pro Day, also struggling in the broad (9'10") and vertical (32 1/2") jumps. Davis lacks speed and leaping ability to win outside, and shows a concerning amount of timidness when running over the middle, which would be problematic in the slot. He’ll likely go down as a good college player who couldn’t cut it in the pros.
