Dolphins waived LB Jake Carlock, LB Jamal Davis II, WR Andy Jones, CB Linden Stephens, DT Gerald Willis and WR Terry Wright.
Davis and Stephens each appeared in three games in 2019, while Willis appeared in two games. Nobody else played a regular season snap with the Dolphins.

  • FA Wide Receiver
Dolphins signed WR Andy Jones, LB Jake Carlock, LB Terrill Hanks, TE Chris Myarick, OT Chidi Okeke, DT Durval Queiroz Neto, WR T.J. Rahming and WR Terry Wright to reserve/future contracts.
The Dolphins are promoting their practice squad to the 90-man roster for the offseason. Despite a better-than-expected 2019, the Dolphins still have one of the league’s thinnest rosters. It’s a good place to be if you are a fringe NFLer.
  • FA Wide Receiver
    Lions waived WR Andy Jones.
Jones reportedly was having a good camp, but he walks away without a roster spot due to an injury. The former undrafted free agent isn’t guaranteed to make another active roster after bouncing around his entire career.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Detroit Free Press’ Dave Birkett said Andy Jones would be his pick for the Lions No. 4 wide receiver job right now.
Jones has been the “most consistent” of the receivers on the roster bubble, plus Jones offers special teams value as a gunner, so he may be able to make the 53-man roster. However, with Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones soaking up most of the targets, there is not a realistic path for these “bubble receivers” to make noise in fantasy.
  • FA Wide Receiver
    Cowboys waived WR Andy Jones.
Jones was hyped throughout spring practices, but didn’t show up in the preseason, looking overwhelmed. An UDFA out of small-school Jacksonville, he’ll likely be stashed on the practice squad where he can further develop.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Texans claimed WR Andy Jones off waivers from the Cowboys.
Jones was let go by the Cowboys on Saturday. He’ll gives the Texans some depth while Braxton Miller (ankle) and Will Fuller (collarbone) work their way back from injuries.
  • FA Wide Receiver
    Texans waived WR Andy Jones.
It’s the second time the Texans have cut Jones in the past few weeks. His latest release means Will Fuller (collarbone) could be returning for Week 4.
  • FA Wide Receiver
    Texans re-signed WR Andy Jones.
The Texans initially claimed Jones off waivers from the Cowboys at final cuts, then cut him, and are now re-signing him. He’s not really on the radar.
