B.J. Johnson has entered into the league’s health and safety protocols and is listed as out Sunday.
Johnson wasn’t providing much fantasy value this season before entering protocols, so this shouldn’t affect many fantasy teams.

  • FA Point Guard #15
RJ Hampton (conditioning) will not be available for Thursday’s game against the Pelicans.
The good news for Hampton and the Magic is that he’s no longer in health and safety protocols. The bad is that there’s still some work to be done from a conditioning standpoint, so he’ll miss at least one more game. This may keep a few minutes open for the recent 10-day signing B.J. Johnson, who scored a career-high 14 points Wednesday night. But that won’t be enough to make Johnson a player worth streaming, regardless of league format.

  • FA Small Forward #24
B.J. Johnson hit 6-of-7 shots and two 3-pointers for a career-high 14 points and four rebounds in Wednesday’s win over the Hawks.
He played just 16 minutes but was on fire tonight. Admiral Schofield played 13 minutes and had eight points and a couple triples but both of these guys are going to be very tough to trust in Orlando’s two remaining games this week. Surely, you can do better for your fantasy teams.

  • Small Forward #25
The Magic have signed Admiral Schofield, BJ Johnson, Aleem Ford and Hassani Gravett, all from the Lakeland Magic, via 10-day hardship exemptions.
The Orlando injury report takes up the whole screen so they’re just trying to field a team so they can compete Friday night against the Heat. We may see some random eruption from one of these guys if they play enough, but it’s really just emergency depth, so feel free to disregard.

  • CLE Guard-Forward #2
Max Strus has agreed to a two-way deal with the Heat.
Strus will spend most of the year with Miami’s G League affiliate, and with him claiming the Heat’s final roster spot, they will need to waive B.J. Johnson.

  • FA Small Forward #24
B.J. Johnson is not on the injury report for Friday against the Celtics.
He is not in the rotation anymore anyway with Terrence Ross, Michael Carter-Williams, Mo Bamba, Khem Birch and Wes Iwundu filling out the back end of the rotation.
  • FA Small Forward #24
B.J. Johnson (personal) will not play on Monday against the Hornets.
He was in the rotation last week, but Johnson was not out there on Saturday.
  • FA Small Forward #24
B.J. Johnson played a career-high 23 minutes on Wednesday, scoring nine points with three rebounds, two steals, one assist and one 3-pointer.
Johnson is on a two-way deal with the Magic, and he’s coming off an impressive stint in the G League. Orlando does need some help at SF without Jonathan Isaac, but fantasy owners should wait to see if Johnson manages to routinely log 20+ minutes.
  • FA Small Forward #24
The Kings waived F B.J. Johnson.
He played just six total minutes with the Kings last season. Johnson may be heading overseas or could be a camp body.
  • FA Small Forward #24
The Kings have signed B.J. Johnson and he will be assigned to their G League affiliate.
Johnson won’t be a part of the rotation in Sacramento, so he’s safe to continue ignoring in all settings.
