This season, Air Force and Army played a 23-3 contest that cashed the Under 39.5.
When you focus on Army and Air Force matched up specifically, there are still fireworks to the Under, with nine of the past 10 hitting (90%). In the last seven meetings, six times the combined score hit 31 or fewer points (85.7%)
There is no real reason to play the Over in this series and this being a neutral field game makes home-field advantage irrelevant.
Air Force is 6-2 on the season and scored 24 or fewer points in half of the eight games. Army is 4-3 and scored 23 or fewer points in three straight weeks up until their 56-point outburst (and loss) against Wake Forest.
Do not expect points to come like that between these two schools. Both teams love the ground game, ranking No. 1 and 2 in the nation for rushing yards per game and attempts.
Expect the clock to keep running and running because of the offenses they run and limitations throwing the ball, which will only assist us on the Under 37.
Both squads are coming off a bye week with a full week-plus to prepare for one another. Expect both defenses to come ready to stop the opposition and plenty of punts.
