The PGA Tour returns this week to the U.S., as a star-studded field tees it up for the relocated CJ Cup in South Carolina.

Congaree Golf Club has hosted one PGA Tour event previously, that being last year’s Palmetto Championship won by South Africa’s Garrick Higgo. This week it plays host to the Tour’s second limited-field, 78-man event in as many weeks. Held in South Korea prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CJ Cup was played each of the last two years in Las Vegas.

Some players will be making the long trek from Japan after last week’s Zozo Championship, including Viktor Hovland and winner Keegan Bradley. Others will be a little less jet-lagged, including betting favorites Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm.

The two European stars headline a stellar field that includes world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and 15 of the top 20 in the latest world rankings. McIlroy is the defending champion after edging Collin Morikawa last year at The Summit Club and could return to world No. 1 with a successful title defense, while Rahm is looking to add another trophy after capturing the Open de Espana two weeks ago.

Both men are out in front based on the opening odds provided by PointsBet Sportsbook, with McIlroy installed as a +725 favorite followed by Rahm at +850. Scheffler and another 2022 major champion, Justin Thomas, are next in line followed by Hovland who finished T-5 last week in Japan.

Here’s a look at some of the notable odds at Congaree, one of the last opportunities to see some of the best in the game tackle the same course in 2022:
